From Ted Scheffler at cityweekly.net:
A good inexpensive Bordeaux from the Bordeaux appellation I’ve been enjoying is 2010 Château Blouin ($10.75). This is a solid, price entry-level Bordeaux, viagra 100mg made by a family-owned Right Bank Bordeaux producer: a medium-bodied Merlot/Cabernet Franc blend, but with lots of depth for $11, soft and smooth and showing dark cherry notes. This could easily become my house Bordeaux for the year.
From the importer, P.R. Grisley Co:
Good news Utah, we’ve recently added some great new wines, all of which are easy on the wallet, as well as the palate! All the wines are available at the Wine Store on 280 West, Harris Ave. (1605 South) in Salt Lake, with more stores adding the wines to their inventory soon. The first two are both fantastic red wines from Bordeaux- the 2010 Chateau du Juge (#918196 – $11.99 Retail), which shows wonderful red fruits, cassis, and is well balanced with velvety tannins.
The second, the Chateau Blouin (#918197 – $10.65), which definitely over delivers for the price- fresh red fruit, soft tannins, and a more “modern” approach to Bordelais winemaking- this is a perfect everyday wine!
