Making wine is a family affair at Vignobles Ducourt. At each crucial stage of the winemaking process, you’ll find a Ducourt: Jonathan handles sales; his father and cousin manage the vineyard; his brother is in charge of vinification, blending and bottling; his aunt handles the administrative work and the finances, and his uncle is the company manager.
The Ducourt family is able to work so closely together because they all share the same philosophy, passed down for generations:
“To get the best out of each ‘terroir’ through a combination of traditional common sense and current techniques to produce ‘pleasure’ wines which are both authentic and affordable. Respecting the environment and our customers’ expectations is also essential to our work ethic.”
Read on to learn more about Jonathan, his family and their wines.
